One woman’s pledge to make the most of the last year of her twenties.

Before turning 30 on 17th November 2012 I’m committing to a  “29 Lives – My Leap Year” Challenge. In the next 12 months, I’m pledging to try 29 new things. Some of these will be things that I would never have considered doing before – activities or exercises that previously I’ve been too scared or bashful to try. I’m also going to try my hand at a few alternate jobs and lifestyles – I want to step out of my comfort zone, try new things, overcome fears and look back on the last year feeling like I haven’t let any opportunities pass me by.

Part of this will be a general ethos to get out more and try new things, which I will document here but going to a new bar or restaurant won’t count as one of the 29 things (aside perhaps from No. 1 – The Blogger). To get a tick off the list, it has to be  a tangible activity that makes me push my boundaries and try something new.

By happy coincidence and tying in with the blog’s name (a former hack’s dream) – 2012 is a leap year, so I even have one more day to get this done…

Wish me luck!
